New bill wants fiber conduit built into every road project
The big cost of laying new fiber is digging up and repaving the roads—so why don’t we just lay fiber conduit in the ground every time a road is rebuilt? That’s the idea behind Rep. Anna Eshoo’s new Broadband Conduit Deployment Act.
