Amazing. Black Congressional witness rips Sen. Barbara Boxer for being CLEARLY racialy condescending.
Of course, she’s a Democrat, so he must be wrong, but still!
Really? I think he’s being a little over sensitive and intentionally combative.
What? Did you get to the part where she said that the guy she was quoting would be “proud” of the witness for appearing?
And isn’t it condescending of you to call him sensitive? (joking)
I got to the part where she said that the guy she was quoting would be “proud” that he was being quoted. One or the other of us misheard that. I think that most people, regardless of race, would be proud to be quoted at a Senate committee hearing.
Well, yes. But then she said he’d be proud of the witness. And, really, if a white, Republican Senator said that a minority should be “proud” of either testifying or being quoted, people would freak out.
You HAVE to admit that.
What timecode did this happen at? I’d love to re-watch that segment and see if I missed that.
