Tyler Hansbrough can’t pass out of a double team. If he doesn’t learn in the next week, UNC will have a tough time making it out of the Sweet Sixteen, even with the one seed they probably finalized tonight.
Danny Green won this game for UNC. That dunk over Paulus late in the first half was nasty.
Lawson looked good but hesitant.
Quentin Thomas is SOOO much better than he would have been if Lawson hadn’t gotten hurt and I think this is good for UNC overall.
Paulus is kind of a badass but that 25+ footer in the first half was dumb. You’re not Redick. [Edit: I just watched this again and that dumb shot led to the Danny Green dunk. Perfect.]
Wayne Ellington’s shot is getting better but even when he’s missing every shot he’s fun to watch. He’s so fluid and makes everything looks easier than it is. Exactly the opposite of Psycho T.
In other news, UCLA is lucky as hell with a huge foul call against Stanford and a huge no call today against Cal. They sure know how to put themselves in that position though. Kevin Love is nasty. His late three today was amazing but that circus shot with 1.5 seconds left by Josh Shipp was beautiful.
