Friend Lust
A close friend of Michelle Obama’s has said, “I’ve actually had
girlfriends call me and go, ‘You’re so lucky. If I’d only met her 15
years ago, I bet we would be best friends.’”From “The Other Obama” in The New Yorker.
Made me think about the people I lust after as friends. Definitely the Cusacks. Want to hang out with them. (I’d totally make out with John but I wouldn’t let it spoil our friendship.) I’d like to get high and cook dinner with Anthony Bourdain and Padma Lakshmi. And who wouldn’t like to do Glastonbury with Kate Moss? There’s got to be lots more…
