Dating Rule (#3)
This is something that I’ve been thinking about lately and, consciously or not, is something I’ve always done.
If I ask someone out two (or sometimes three) times and the response I have received is “I can’t make it that night” to each, the following are the reasons that I will not ask that girl out again:
- I don’t want to be the person who doesn’t get it.
- I don’t want to force anyone to be mean and tact can be difficult here.
- I don’t want to be the recipient of tactlessness either. It doesn’t feel good.
- Life goes on.
“I can’t make it that night, but how about…” feels so good. Male and female perspectives appreciated.
