“AICN is reporting that apparently all development on the latest James Bond film has been stopped and the project is dead — this coming after an announcement back in April that the production was on indefinite hold. If [the $4-billion-in-debt MGM] can’t get a Bond film directed by Sam Mendes and written by Frost/Nixon scribe Peter Morgan off the ground, then things seem very dire indeed. That would make two huge films guaranteed to make money — three if you factor in that The Hobbit is going to be told in two parts — that the company appears to be incapable of making.”
Next James Bond Film Permanently Canceled
Looks like MGM will sell the rights to the Bond series. The article notes that Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace both grossed nearly $600 million in worldwide box office receipts.

“The latest news concerning the next Batman film is the casting of Joseph Gordon Levitt (Brick, (500) Days of Summer) as the Riddler. As a fan of the actor I consider this great news, but I’m kinda disappointed about the decision to recycle yet another villain who already had his silver screen moment in Batman Forever. The 6 Batman films gave us 10 excellent villains, while The Joker and Two-Face are the two who enjoyed a second run in Nolan’s current revival.
Batman has amassed a collection of over 100 villains in the course of the comic strip run, so the variety is wide. Here are six interesting characters we didn’t have a chance to see yet, with a casting suggestion for each.”

We’re designing new business cards at AnyClip. I’m a numbers guy and figure I should reach out to people with more of a design sense. The above is basically what the back of the cards will look like (there are other color options). I’m trying to figure out what search phrase to use. I like Nicole’s idea of using something cutoff representing the action of searching. I’d prefer something intriguing and that encourages a search to something that’s just completely recognizable. Here are the options I’m considering (with an 18 character max):
What do you think? [Update note: “That’s what she sai” is taken.]
